Shub-Niggurath

My take on the "Black Goat of the Woods with a Thousand Young", the most commonly worshiped entity in the Cthulhu Mythos. Lovecraft himself does not describe Shub-Niggurath at all, but her young are described as tentacled and hoofed tree-monsters, so I imagine that they would have at least some resemblance to their mother. Considering her epithet as a goat-like creature makes me imagine that she would somehow resemble the commonly associated image of the Devil as a goat-featured humanoid, which is encouraged by the suggestion that her loyal cultists are turned into creatures that inspired myths about fauns and satyrs. That is why I imagine Shubby to look like a bloated and constantly pregnant hybrid between a goat, an octopus and a tree.
