In October of 2010 I started a short RPG campaign (with the Fate-system) called "Superfly Superheroes", inspired by comics from the 1970's. The setting is a crime-infested New York City, going through its own "Rise of the freaks" (Batman-reference!) with funky costumed adventurers fighting for justice. In this gallery I plan to show all my drawings of protagonists, antagonists and NPCs.

Besides actual comics from the 70's, I took inspiration from all sorts of popculture of the decade and later stuff that I then "seventy-fied". For instance: With the Black Fist Clan I essentially took the Foot Clan from TMNT and gave the organization a blaxploitation-treatment, with a street gang with Black Panther-vibes and black ninjas. The Brooklyn Wildcards are an example of how much I was inspired by the awesome cult-film "The Warriors".

Some day I'll make a sequel RPG set in the 1980's, mixing together elements from comics, cartoons, tv-shows and movies from the entire decade.
