Miniature axe

I've already built a helmet for my undead barbarian, but he needs more gear to wreak havoc from beyond the grave. I've made this axe to accompany the shield I posted earlier. It is a very simple build, with a barbeque stick for a handle and wrapped in paper to simulate leather. The axe head was first cut from cardboard and then glued to the shaft, after which I covered it with aluminium foil and layers of hot glue. I've again used plastic beads for rivets and I've pulled more hot glue on the shaft to make it gnarly.

This is most definitely not a pretty axe, but I wanted it to look like something my dead warrior was buried with. Iron tends to age horribly without constant care and archeological iron-artefacts usually look downright ugly compared to many objects made of other metals.
